Old Soul Explorer Travel Blog
Stories and Inspiration for the Soulful Traveler
I started Old Soul Explorer as a sort of love letter to travel, to the adventurous spirit of experiencing foreign cultures, exotic landscapes, and storied ruins which showcase the beauty and mystery of our world. My favorite places to visit are often the intersection and crossroads of different regions, ideas, and cultures.
My blog includes definitive destination guides which capture essential logistics and my personal recommendations on the best things to do. All of the pictures in my blog are my own and hopefully evoke a deeper desire to discover new horizons and explore new worlds. Along with my comprehensive guides, I share travel tips and advice for solo travelers.
Some of my adventures have taken me on road trips throughout Sicily and Crete, wandering the wild camel filled shorelines of Oman, and solo traveling Jordan and Egypt.
The purpose of my blog is simple. To inspire the wild, adventurous spirit of travel by sharing my stories and experiences while also giving practical firsthand tips to help you make the most of your upcoming journey.
where do you want to go?
Each destination has something different to offer the spirit of a traveler. Regardless if you’re seeking the serenity of the mountains, the chaotic and electric rush of a foreign city, or just desire to disconnect with your feet in the sand, I’ve shared my favorite destinations from my journeys around the world.
I’ve also organized all my travel guides by country. Additionally, you can see my newest posts by reading the blog. I also have a section specifically for travel tips if you need inspiration for planning or organizing your trip.
I am so happy to

I’ve always dreamed of traveling the world ever since I was a kid. Growing up in a quiet suburb of Southern California, I always had a sense of wanderlust, a desire to learn about other countries and to experience the oldest and most far reaching corners of the globe. Since I was young, I have been fascinated in learning about other cultures, countries, and people, especially the points of crossover between different worlds.
Travel smarter and get inspired
My goal is to share travel tips that inspire and empower travelers to explore the world more confidently, uncover hidden treasures, save money, and enrich their journeys with insights into local cultures, travel logistics, and unique itineraries for unforgettable experiences.
